About the Role:
The School Social Worker will play a key role in supporting student social-emotional development and well-being. Youll collaborate closely with school staff, students, and families to help ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities:

Deliver direct social work services to students as required by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or student support plans

Maintain accurate documentation and case records in compliance with district and legal requirements

Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to address student behavioral, social, and emotional needs

Support student wellness, development, and academic progress through counseling, crisis intervention, and resource coordination

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations related to student services and confidentiality
Qualifications:

Valid Illinois School Social Worker credential, license, or certification

Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work or related field

Experience working in a school setting or with children/adolescents preferred
